Custom HO replica PRR H-21g hopper car #747803
The Rochester Chapter NRHS is pleased to be able to offer these limited production Bowser replica HO models of PRR H-21g hopper car #747803; part of the collection of the Chapter's Rochester & Genesee Valley Railroad Museum.

Sales of these cars will directly benefit the planned cosmetic restoration of #747809 to match the HO models.

The #747803 is one of only two PRR H-21g hopper cars left in existence from the thousands of H-21 hopper cars built. Built in 1909 as a H-21, the #747803 received several major rebuilds to bring it to its current H-21g class designation. As it stands now and as modeled, the #747803 carries "P134 10/66" as part of its markings. This is the reweigh info, and it refers to scale #134 which was located in the Elmira yard in Elmira, NY. A reweigh took place about every 2 years with #747803 carrying the date of October, 1966 giving the car a New York connection.
